Diego Luna Discusses Andor Season 2

Entertainment Weekly sat down with Andor lead Diego Luna to discuss the upcoming season, and there were a few things we were very excited to hear.
The Triumphant Return of K-2SO: Rogue One’s quick-witted and loose-lipped droid, K-2SO, did not make an appearance in Season 1 of Andor, though another of his KX-series security droid brethren did, giving us all a small moment of hope before we realized we weren’t seeing who we thought we were. However, it sounds like things will be different this go-around, with Luna mentioning that Season 2 will give viewers a much deeper understanding of what makes K-2 so important to the Rebellion and Cassian and Jyn.
What This Means: Luna’s comments went beyond just the return of one of our favorite droids — he believes Andor Season 2 will change how we watch Rogue One. Season 1 transformed the leadup to the Rebellion for fans — as did Rogue One — and gave us the context for Cassian Andor’s life and motivations against the Empire. Getting that same treatment for even more familiar characters would be incredible, especially with Andor’s production value.
When Is Season 2? Andor Season 2 doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but we know it is coming to Disney+ in 2025. And according to Luna, we might even see Rogue One re-released in theaters following the new season!
We're all fine here now — how are you? Each bit of news surrounding the new season of Andor gets us even more excited for what is to come. Who do you hope to see in season 2?

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Season 2 Rises to Next Level

WOW! Season 2 of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures has dropped on Disney+ and follows beautifully from the ground-breaking first season. We follow slightly older and wiser younglings to new planets, new stories, and new action. Along the way, we meet awesome new characters, all while getting a deeper understanding of the High Republic in 232 BBY (which, as a reminder, is the same year as Light of the Jedi novelization).
The Journey: The season features Kai, Lys, Nubs, Nash, and RJ-83 embarking on more awesome missions (two per episode) from their Jedi Temple on Tenoo. The foursome continues to train and learn that working together proves unstoppable. They (and we) see that focus, calm, and trust are the way to become great Jedi Knights because, ultimately, Jedi always help someone in need and never give up!
New Friends: Several fantastic new characters appear in this season; here are some of the standouts:
Wes Kinik - Master Zia’s new Padawan arrives in his Vector, ready to conquer all. In true Young Jedi style, he is reminded that besides his youthful energy and go-get-em attitude, he needs calmness and the ability to work together—a great mentor for our three little Jedi.
Maz Kanata - yep, you read it right! The Pirate Queen makes her debut, and we are all the better for it. It's a great episode, and her inclusion makes so much sense after her role in Phase 2 of The High Republic initiative. Here’s hoping for more of Maz in the future!
Prue Canti - a nature-loving naturalist who cares for all plants, she helps the Padawans learn to leave native flora where it belongs in her own unique way!
We’re all fine here now—how are you? We love this season so far and cannot wait for the second half. If you've watched it, what are your thoughts so far?
Edge of Balance Volume 3 Released

Since 2021, Star Wars has published the amazing manga The High Republic: Edge of Balance, which has thrilled our fandom. The graphic novels so far, Volumes 1, 2, and Precedent, have introduced us to all-new Star Wars characters, stories, and action through the lens of The High Republic.
The Story: Written by Shima Shinya and Daniel Jose Older, our latest volume is set against the tragic loss of the Starlight Beacon. Young Jedi Lily fights her feelings of hopelessness as the Jedi work harder than ever to protect the planets and people of the Outer Rim. Still, they also struggle against the fear of the Nameless and the expanding destruction from Machion Ro’s Stormwall.
Our focus is on the planet of Banchii and the reestablishment of a Jedi Temple. All seems hopeless, but with the arrival of Master Arkoff, hidden secrets may turn the tide with an action-packed cliffhanger at the end!
The Art: Apart from the story, this series is worth its weight in gold due to the absolutely amazing artwork by Mizuki Sakakibara. Picking up where Tomio Ogata left off, Sakakibara crafts striking panels of horror and dread along with some impressively serene moments.
Looking Ahead: With this excellent addition to the Edge of Balance series, fans will have to wait a little for the next entry, Premonition, which will be released on April 8, 2025. Additionally, Volume 4 is set to release on April 22, 2025.
