New Guest Announcements at Star Wars Celebration Japan

Organizers have announced a new round of guests for Star Wars Celebration, which will take place next April! From animation to live action, these guests cover the full range of Celebration's offerings.

Sith of The Acolyte: One of the most exciting announcements is the addition of Manny Jacinto to the Celebration lineup. Manny unleashed immense power on the High Republic-era Jedi of The Acolyte as Darth Teeth the Stranger, so his addition to the guest stars list makes complete sense. Perhaps he won’t be the only member of team Acolyte to show up on a panel or two at Celebration Japan!

Return of the Classics: Alongside Manny, we’ll also get to see some very familiar Star Wars faces next April:

  • Anthony Daniels - our favorite protocol droid, C-3PO.

  • Temuera Morrison - the live-action face of both Jango Fett in the prequels and Boba Fett in The Book of Boba Fett.

  • Ashley Eckstein - our beloved Ahsoka Tano in all things Star Wars animation.

These three actors are quite accustomed to Star Wars Celebration and other cons, and it is always a joy to interact with them and hear their thoughts on the galaxy far, far away.

We're all fine here now — how are you? We can’t wait for Celebration Japan! Do you think you’ll go enjoy the festivities and meet some featured guests?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Releasing on Last Gen Consoles

In April 2023, Electronic Arts EA Star Wars, Respawn Entertainment, and LucasFilm Games rocked our Youtiniverse with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

This immersive galaxy-spanning action-adventure game, set after Order 66, introduced Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis and his trusty droid BD-1, along with mentor Jedi Master Cere Junda, mercenary Bode Akuna, engineer Prauf, and Nightsister Merrin. The fandom also went crazy for Cameron Monaghan, the physical and vocal inspiration for Cal. And we wait with bated breath for the real-life Canon appearance of Cal Kestis in an upcoming film or TV series - that would be just mind-blowing!!

Now, on September 17, 2024, those of us on PS4 and Xbox One consoles can finally join in the lightsaber carnage and pure Star Wars joy!

We pick up five years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, with Cal and his friends desperately fighting to bring light to an ever darker galaxy. This single-player, story-driven game allows you to destroy battle droids, face a Rancor, and fight challenging bosses, all while you hope to rebuild the Jedi Order. Enjoy the amazing Stinger Mantis as you visit the planets of Courscant, Koboh, Jedha, and more. If you haven’t seen the trailer or would like to relive the moment you first set eyes on it, check it out here.

Additionally, if you want more resources, check out our review of the game and our recap of Jedi Fallen Order.
